The Structure of the Hansa Mare Reederei

In 1992, the shipowner Harro Kniffka († 16th March 2009), main shareholder of the Hanseatic Lloyd Group, together with the Schlüssel Reederei, represented by its Managing Partner, Dr. Jens Meier-Hedde, founded the Hansa Mare Reederei, Bremen, in which each held a 50 % share. The 50 % share of Mr Kniffka in the Hansa Mare Reederei is now held by the community of heirs - the Kniffka family. This share is administered through Hanseatic Lloyd Holding, Bremen/ Germany. Thorsten Mackenthun, Managing Partner of the Hanseatic Lloyd Reederei, and Dr. Andreas Opatz, Managing Partner of the Schlüssel Reederei, jointly form the management board of the Hansa Mare Reederei.
